Taras Panasenko has topped Forbes Ukraine’s 2025 ranking of the Top 25 Best CEOs in Ukraine

Aurora’s CEO, Taras Panasenko, has taken first place in the ranking of the best executives according to Forbes Ukraine. This is an important recognition of the work our team does every day and of the leadership that helps Aurora continue to grow steadily, even in challenging times.

This year, Forbes compiled its first-ever ranking of 25 leaders who demonstrated the highest results based on a comprehensive assessment. The evaluators analyzed professional competencies, leadership qualities, crisis management, and the financial performance of the companies they lead. The list includes those who earned the highest scores out of 100, with the threshold set at 76 points. The ranking features leaders from retail and related industries — companies that, like us, continue to serve millions of Ukrainians every day.

As part of the study, Forbes also identified the average age of participants: 48 years. This offers a general portrait of an executive who effectively navigates today’s environment. The youngest among them is our CEO. At 37, Taras topped the ranking — and for us, this recognition highlights the quality of his professional decisions and the results Aurora achieves under his leadership.

This achievement is further confirmation that we are moving in the right direction. We remain committed to working with quality, integrity, and care for people. And it is encouraging to see Aurora’s contribution to the development of Ukrainian retail recognized on a national level.
