On December 4, 2025, the VIII RAU Awards ceremony took place in Kyiv — an annual event that has already become a tradition for the Ukrainian retail market. This is where the best companies in retail and commercial real estate are recognized, as well as those who set industry standards and drive its development.

This year, leading market players competed in 12 categories, as well as four special ones: “Best Retail Concept of the Year,” “Innovative Retailer of the Year,” “Omnichannel Retailer of the Year,” and “Most Dynamic Retailer of the Year (Yevhen Kulinich Award).” A separate distinction — “Retail Person of the Year” — was awarded to the most outstanding leader in the industry.

Winners were determined by voting from the Expert Council, which included owners and top managers of leading retail chains, development companies, consulting firms, and respected industry experts. Market participants also had the opportunity to vote openly — the combination of these approaches ensured an objective and balanced result.

In the special category “Most Dynamic Retailer of the Year (Yevhen Kulinich Award),” the winner was the Aurora multimarket chain. This recognition reflects the company’s impressive growth: between September 1, 2024, and August 31, 2025, Aurora opened 299 new stores — nearly one new location appearing on the map of Ukraine every day.
