Aurora has received its first Effie Awards recognition — a bronze in the “Culture and Arts” category for the project “The Sabre of Ivan Mazepa.”
In collaboration with Ukraine WOW and the Chernihiv Historical Museum, the company launched sales of the Ivan Mazepa toy sabre — an exact wooden replica of the legendary sabre raised by Oleksandr Usyk in the ring. It has become a symbol of resilience, confidence in victory, and respect for Ukrainian history. All profits — 100% — were donated to support the Chernihiv Historical Museum, where the original artifact is kept. The replicas were produced by the Kharkiv-based brand “Suvenir-Dekor,” a Ukrainian manufacturer that continues to operate despite daily risks and joined the project inspired by its meaning and mission.
“This is more than an educational toy for children or a symbol of our victory on a shelf or a desk — it is a piece of history kept alive thanks to you. It is inspiring how one small initiative can unite people and contribute so much to preserving our cultural heritage,” said Roman Sivkovskyi, Global CMO at Aurora.
