Lesia Klymenko

Chief Financial Officer,
Co-founder of Aurora Multimarket

We firmly believe that meaningful support for veterans — both men and women — is not merely a social initiative, but a moral foundation of modern Ukrainian business. The return of defenders to civilian life is a key prerequisite for the resilience of our society and the country’s future recovery. For us, as a responsible company, this area is strategic: we are building a reintegration system not as a formality, but as an effective mechanism based on respect, accessibility, and the creation of equal opportunities for everyone who defended our independence.

Veteran experience is a unique value, and we are doing everything possible to integrate the leadership qualities and resilience of our heroes into Aurora’s corporate culture. To make this process systematic and professional, we have introduced the role of Chief Veteran Officer in the company. This decision ensures that veterans’ needs are considered at the highest level, and that adaptation becomes a two-way journey: the company evolves by implementing mentoring and support programs to become a truly comfortable place for defenders to realize their potential in peaceful life.

Every day we work thanks to those who keep the sky over Ukraine safe, so responsibility toward veterans concerns each of us: from top management to store employees. We believe that only through inclusivity and a professional approach can business remain both effective and ethical. Here, we declare our readiness to be a reliable pillar for our defenders — both men and women — and we also call on partners to join forces so that together we can create a достойне future for those who won it for us.

With respect,
Taras Panasenko, CEO, Co-founder of Aurora Multimarket
