Євгенія Кучеренко — Project Manager року за версією PMI Ukraine Excellence Award 2025

Yevheniia Kucherenko, Head of the Project and Process Management Office, has been named the winner of the national PMI Ukraine Excellence Award 2025 in the “Project Manager of the Year” category — a distinction that recognizes professionals who are transforming project management culture in Ukraine through professionalism, a systematic approach, and innovation.

The PMI Ukraine Excellence Award is an initiative of the Ukrainian chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI), an international organization founded in the United States in 1969. In Ukraine, the official PMI chapter has been operating since 2004, bringing together professionals in project, program, and portfolio management. The award aims to recognize those who not only deliver projects but also shape new standards for the profession and inspire the market to evolve.

Yevheniia’s journey in project management began in 2006, when she worked in production logistics and first became involved in an automation project. This experience became the starting point for her further development in project management, business analysis, and process management.

Over the years, project management has become more than just a profession — it has turned into a passion that inspires and drives her forward. Yevheniia has consistently grown, combining different approaches and realizing in practice that effective projects are impossible without systemic thinking, analytics, and well-structured processes. With over 20 years of experience, her career includes both successful cases and challenging moments that have only strengthened her expertise and resilience.

Receiving the PMI Ukraine Excellence Award 2025 is more than just recognition for Yevheniia. It reflects a journey shaped not only by achievements, but also by challenges, decisions, and continuous development. And, as she says, it is also about the people around her — those who supported her, shared their experience, taught her, and even those who created challenges that pushed her to move faster and more confidently.

The Aurora team, with whom Yevheniia is currently implementing projects, played a significant role in this achievement. In her daily work with the team, she continues to develop approaches to project and process management, as well as share her experience with the professional community — through speaking engagements at industry events and participation in educational initiatives.
