40 Aurorians Joined Aurora’s Corporate Donor Week “From Heart to Heart”.
To mark Valentine’s Day, Aurora held a special corporate blood donation initiative — “From Heart to Heart.” A total of 40 employees from across the country took part, donating blood in their hometowns to help save lives.
On February 17, we also organized a group trip from our Support Office to the blood transfusion center in Poltava. Among the participants were both first-time and experienced donors, united by a shared desire to do good.

For example, Yuliia Nalyvaiko donated blood for the first time and shared her experience:
*“I’d been thinking about becoming a donor for a while, but in the past, when the company organized donation trips, I couldn’t participate due to medical restrictions. This time, I felt like the moment had come — I pulled myself together and decided it was time to start.
In these difficult times for our country, I want to be as useful as possible wherever I can. And I truly hope my blood can help save someone’s life.
Everything went great. I’m already looking forward to the next opportunity to donate.”*
Meanwhile, Dmytro Skrypai made his 30th blood donation:
*“I started donating blood in 2015 during the height of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO), when blood was urgently needed for wounded soldiers. A group of us who already had donation experience went to the Regional Blood Transfusion Center in Poltava to help. That’s where my donor journey began. This most recent donation was my 30th.
Since then, I’ve been donating blood 4–5 times a year — both to the blood bank and for individual patients in need.
Blood donation isn’t just helping others — it’s also beneficial for your own health, as donors tend to get sick less often. Donating blood is one of the simplest, yet most meaningful things a person can do for others — especially now, during the war. Because #your_blood_can_fight.”*
The group donation lasted nearly three hours. Aurora team members donated both whole blood and blood components, contributing to the general blood bank as well as for a specific patient in urgent need of a transfusion.
The #DonateBloodShareLove campaign may be over, but at Aurora, we continue to promote blood donation on an ongoing basis. So far, the network has recorded 378 donations, amounting to over 170 liters of blood.
There are currently 187 donors within the company — and that number keeps growing each month.
Which means: more lives saved.
