Football is the most popular sport among Avrora employees.
That’s why Avrora team members regularly hold training sessions, take part in internal tournaments, and represent the company in Poltava’s local cups as a corporate team — proudly showcasing Avrora’s athletic spirit and potential.

Avrora’s 2021 football season began with a victory, as our team claimed the Brooklyn Winter Cup 2021 title. Shortly after, from March 13 to May 15, the team took part in the Brooklyn Cup Spring 2021, a city tournament featuring 16 teams from Poltava. Our players gave it their all, with many bright victories along the way — and a few unfortunate defeats. In the end, Avrora secured 5th place in the final standings, a strong result among tough competition.
Avrora’s Corporate Football Tournaments
We kicked off the summer season with the Avrora Random Cup at the Brooklyn Sports Complex. The format was unique: teams were drawn at random just before the match, making every game a new experience. Four teams played 5v5 on a mini-field, with two 15-minute halves.
The champions, FC Lille (Kyrylo Morkovskyi, Oleh Krat, Oleksandr Dunai, Vladyslav Voitenko, Vitalii Tyshchenko), won all their matches. They received:
A traveling Avrora Cup trophy
Stylish sports bottles
Avrora Sport merch certificates
A cash prize formed from the registration fees of all participants.
In autumn, we held another corporate championship — a great way to promote football as a company-wide activity and bring in new players.
In October, six teams competed in the Avrora CUP on the Brooklyn SC field. With great weather, strong rivals, and the motivation to win the trophy and prize fund, the matches were intense.
The final match between “Rabotnichky” and FC Lider ended in a narrow 3–4 victory for Lider.
Top Scorer: Artem Hurskyi (Rabotnichky) with 9 goals
Best Goalkeeper: Oleksandr Bondarenko (Banda QA)
Two Golds and One Silver — A Season to Remember
From September 5 to November 14, Avrora participated in the 3rd Open Mini-Football Championship of Poltava — BVS CUP 2021, held in Pavlenky Park. The tournament featured 12 teams playing in a 6v6 format.
Avrora won all 11 matches and took home the championship trophy.
Immediately after, the team entered the Shcherbanivska Hromada Cup at the Rozsoshentsi Sports Complex — and won yet another trophy.
After a brief break, the team closed the year by returning to the Brooklyn Winter Cup 2021–2022. The final matches were played in January 2022, and Avrora earned silver, becoming runners-up of this winter championship.
From the first match to the last, Avrora’s footballers showcased dedication, teamwork, and competitive spirit — proving once again that sports unite, energize, and inspire us all.
