This autumn, the tree-planting initiative was carried out in support of several causes:

• The Day of Responsibility, celebrated in Ukraine for the first time.
• The "One Repost — One Tree Planted" challenge as part of the "Joykis" eco-campaign.
• The nationwide campaign "Let's Create Forests Together."

On an area of 0.25 hectares at the Rudnyanske Forestry, 1,100 common oak seedlings were planted.
Interestingly, 80 of these trees were grown by Avrora employees themselves in pots, starting in early summer.

In total, during spring and autumn of 2021, with the support of foresters from the Poltava Forestry, over 4,000 seedlings of various forest species were planted.

The initiative reached a national scale thanks to the participation of our stores.
Employees from 54 retail locations planted trees such as thuja, dogwood, apple, plum, pear, almond, peach, sumac, hibiscus, and other saplings.
The planting locations were also diverse — new trees appeared near Avrora stores, as well as next to kindergartens, schools, churches, and even in the personal yards of our employees.

For Avrora, caring for the environment remains a top priority within our corporate social responsibility strategy.
