Aurora Multimarket has been named one of the top 30 digitalization leaders in Ukrainian business, according to a study by Forbes Ukraine and KPMG in Ukraine.

According to the “Champions of Digitalization” study by Forbes Ukraine and KPMG in Ukraine, 60% of Ukrainian companies have accelerated their digital transformation since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The most widespread technology adopted has been cloud storage, used by over 90% of the surveyed companies. The urgency to migrate to the cloud was driven by the war, as Russian attacks posed a threat to the physical destruction of local servers.
IT departments and financial management are currently the most digitalized business areas, while HR and production processes remain less automated — particularly in industries that require significant investment in technology.
The list of the top 30 digitalization champions was formed as follows: Forbes Ukraine and KPMG in Ukraine collected 203 questionnaires from Ukrainian companies representing 11 economic sectors. From these, a shortlist of 68 companies was created. Among respondents, 51.5% represented the service sector and 48.5% came from the production sector. 71.9% were large companies, while 26.6% were small and medium-sized businesses.
The survey was conducted between September and October 2024 and became the basis for Ukraine’s first-ever Digital Practices Ranking – “Champions of Digitalization 2024.”
Each company received a digitalization index calculated using 26 criteria. The 30 companies with the highest index scores were included in the final ranking.
The overall score for each company reflects the level of digitalization across key business processes — sales, HR, finance, production/service, supply chain, marketing, and IT.
The degree of digitalization in each area is visualized with a proportional star rating (from 1 to 5), based on the corresponding index derived from survey responses.
