Avrora Employees Planted a Forest on Earth Day

Each year, in both spring and autumn, Avrora employees come together on their day off to take part in reforestation efforts across the Poltava region.

This time, a friendly team of eco-conscious Avrora employees planted a forest near the village of Tereshky.
Fittingly, the planting took place on Earth Day, celebrated annually on April 22 — a day when everyone can make a small contribution to protecting the environment.

The result of this joint eco-initiative with local foresters was the planting of 1,140 Scots pine seedlings in the Chalivske Forestry of the Poltava Forest Enterprise, a branch of State Forests of Ukraine.
It was a day of great teamwork and meaningful action, remembered not only by the employees of the Support Office, but also by their children, who joined their parents for the experience.
When children grow up witnessing how to care for nature, they are more likely to follow that positive example themselves.

The day ended, as always, in a warm and cozy way — with a well-deserved snack and tea from a kettle over an open fire.
The team thanked the forest rangers for organizing the event and promised to meet again in the fall at a new location.

Now, another small “Avrora forest” will continue to green the Poltava region.
