Aurora Opens a Distribution Center in Lviv: A Step Toward Smarter Logistics
Aurora is actively expanding its network across Ukraine, opening a new store approximately every 14 hours. But the more retail locations there are, the more complex logistics become. At the same time, shoppers at Aurora multistores have come to expect shelves filled with a rich variety of goods. That’s why the Aurora team is constantly seeking — and finding — solutions that make the process of delivering products to stores significantly more efficient.
One such solution that has already been implemented is the opening of a distribution center in Lviv. This is the third distribution center in the company’s network. The facility spans over 7,000 square meters and employs more than 300 Aurora team members.
“We are building an honest, transparent business that strictly complies with Ukrainian laws and takes a stand against tax evasion in all sectors of the economy. We believe in Ukraine and its future, and that’s why we are ready to continue investing in the further development of our retail operations — despite the war waged by the Russian Federation against Ukraine,”
said Lev Zhydenko, co-owner of the Aurora group of companies.
The Aurora multistore chain continues to improve its operations every day to become more convenient and beneficial for customers. Sometimes this improvement takes the form of a new device for checking products in-store, and sometimes — like now — it’s the launch of a major distribution hub in Lviv.
Aurora is constantly evolving, with one clear goal: to make customers happier by offering affordable goods for home and heart.
