Avrora Ranked Among the TOP 25 Veteran-Friendly Companies

200 participants and over 30 speakers took part in the charity forum “Nezalezhni” in Lviv.

The event was organized by the global media company Forbes Ukraine.
Its key goal was to unite the efforts of business and government in finding effective solutions for the successful reintegration of veterans into peaceful society.

Representatives of Superhumans Center, the Come Back Alive Foundation, and the veteran community Veteran Hub shared their experiences.
The forum was also attended by Andriy Moskalenko, First Deputy Mayor of Lviv, Yuliia Svyrydenko, Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Tetiana Kalyta, Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs, and Daryna Marchak, Deputy Minister of Social Policy.

As part of the event, a charity auction was held with the goal of raising funds to produce body armor designed for 5,000 women.
At the end of the forum, an awards ceremony honored Ukrainian companies recognized as the top veteran-friendly employers by Forbes.

Out of 116 companies, the jury selected and formed a Top 25 list — and Avrora was included among them, as a company ready to support veterans and veteran women in their return to civilian life and respond to ongoing challenges.

The Forbes recognition was received by Aliona Zhygura, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, and Vitalii Demochko, Head of the Retail Project Office.
He was part of Avrora before the full-scale invasion, served in the Ukrainian Armed Forces for nearly a year, then demobilized and returned to work at the company.

Vitalii also agreed to become Avrora’s first veteran mentor, supporting new veteran employees during their adaptation to the workplace.

In matters of veteran reintegration, our company fully supports the thought expressed by one of the speakers at the “Nezalezhni” Charity Forum:

"Veterans should not be seen as people with problems who need help, but as individuals with unique experiences who deserve recognition and gratitude."
