Results of the charity festival SKHID-ROCK – how much was raised and how the funds were spent

Between April 9 and 18, our store network hosted the virtual festival 'SKHID-ROCK' across all sales floors.

The festival had two important goals – to uplift Ukrainians with good music and to raise charitable support for the residents of Trostianets, Sumy region.
This town was occupied from the first days of the war, and by the time it was liberated at the end of March, it had suffered extensive damage and was in urgent need of assistance.

The charity event was organized in a short time thanks to the cooperation between the Aurora team, the organizers of the SKHID-ROCK festival, and the team from the ATB grocery store chain.

As a result, the festival was not only played in Aurora stores, but also echoed through the shopping areas of ATB stores. A livestream of the event was freely available on both the Aurora and SKHID-ROCK websites via YouTube.

Many well-known Ukrainian musicians supported the initiative and granted temporary rights to use their music, including:
THE HARDKISS, ANTYTILA, SERHIY BABKIN, BEZ OBMEZHEN, VOPLI VIDOPLIASOVA, OLEKSANDR POLOZHYNSKYI, PIANOBOY, SKRYABIN, FIOLET, BAH.ROMA, DAKH DAUGHTERS, DRUGA RIKA, DAKHABRAKHA, O.TORVALD, and many others.

From April 1 to 18, everyone who wished could voluntarily purchase charity tickets to support the town.
As a result, the festival raised 191,100 UAH.

All the funds were transferred to the NGO Center for European Integration of Slobozhanshchyna.
At the end of April, the organization reported that — with a small additional contribution from benefactors — the money raised during the festival was used to replace window panes and install new windows across the entire second floor of Trostianets’ inpatient hospital.
This floor houses the maternity and obstetrics-gynecology department, so thanks to this charitable initiative, children in Trostianets can now be born in comfort and safety.

Thus, the SKHID-ROCK virtual charity festival once again proves that united business efforts can do great good.
The Aurora team is deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to this meaningful cause.
Together, we will win!
