June 14 — World Blood Donor Day

Blood cannot be created artificially. It can only be donated — and that means giving someone a chance at life.

At Aurora, blood donation has become part of a culture of care, mutual support, and responsibility. We are proud to have people in our community who take the time to help others in such a meaningful way.

Over the past five years, our blood donation initiative has grown 57-fold: from 22 donations in 2021 to 1,259 donations in 2025. In the first five months of 2026 alone, our donors have already made 813 donations.

Since the launch of the project, Aurora’s donor community has completed 4,100 blood donations and brought together 1,060 donors across Ukraine.

Among those leading by example is Dmytro Skrypai, an Aurora employee and Honorary Donor of Ukraine, who has already made 47 blood donations 

Every donation is more than just a number. It is someone’s chance to recover, support for a family, and proof that care can make a real difference. 

We are grateful to every person who takes the time to donate blood and help save lives.
