On the eve of the New Year, many Ukrainians were divided — should we celebrate while our defenders are risking their lives every minute to protect our land?
So, we decided to ask the military themselves: how do they feel about it?
As it turned out, none of the defenders saw anything wrong with creating a festive New Year atmosphere at home. After all, that’s exactly what they’re fighting for — so we can continue to live our lives, hold our loved ones close, and enjoy moments of peace. The Armed Forces of Ukraine hold the line and defend our borders to protect that normalcy.
From December 19, 2022 to January 15, 2023, Aurora ran a charity campaign called "Share the Warmth, Share the Holiday", aimed at quickly raising funds to sew winter uniforms for women serving in the Armed Forces.
And — we did it!
For 28 days, Aurora not only brought festive cheer to homes across Ukraine, but also donated 10% of sales from all New Year’s items to the NGO Zemlyachky. Ukrainian Front.
Thanks to this campaign, we raised an incredible 6,000,000 UAH, which helped provide 952 women defenders with warm winter gear.
We want to thank each and every one of you for your support — you’re amazing!
We achieved this only thanks to the active participation of Ukrainians, the media support from the Zemlyachky team, the women’s football club “Kryvbas”, and the outreach efforts of project ambassador Olya Polyakova.
This was another proud step toward Victory — and we’re not stopping here. Because the people of Ukraine are a true symbol of inner strength, unity, and resilience.
Only together can we defeat the enemy and bring peace and comfort back to our homes.
