The Avrora multimarket chain has initiated cooperation with the Charitable Foundation “Veteran Hub ++” as part of the “Praktyka” project.
This initiative focuses on supporting the employment of veterans within the company and on building veteran-friendly policies, processes, and a benefits system tailored to employees with military experience.

Following the signing of the memorandum, four educational webinars have already been held with HR specialists and department heads on the topic:"How to Work with Veterans and Make This Interaction Mutually Beneficial."
The sessions addressed critical topics such as:
- Which professions veterans choose after returning from military service;
- The veteran's journey as an employee within a company;
- Selection and adaptation processes for veterans in the workplace;
- Implementing ethical communication with veteran employees;
- Psychological self-care for HR professionals and team managers.
Additionally, Avrora employees were informed about the availability of free support services, including:
- Legal aid (initial legal consultations);
- Psychological assistance (support, counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals to psychotherapists);
- Information support (help finding contacts to address basic needs).
These services are available to veterans, defenders, and their families via the support hotline: 067 348 28 68
Support spaces and mobile offices are also operating in Kyiv and Vinnytsia.
