As a result of the charity fundraiser, $635,000 was raised. All funds will be directed toward the reconstruction of the school in Maryanivka, which serves 300 children from seven surrounding villages.

The whole world is watching the events in Ukraine. And not just watching — it supports us every day, helping to rebuild destroyed towns and villages. We are grateful to everyone who doesn’t stay on the sidelines, and we extend our special thanks to the fundraising platform UNITED24.
Recently, our CEO and co-founder of the Avrora multimarket chain,
Taras Panasenko, had the opportunity to attend a charity evening hosted by Richard Branson and UNITED24. He was one of 24 invited guests who gathered at Virgin Hotels NYC and personally took part in the fundraiser for the reconstruction of one of the schools in Kyiv region.
As a result, $635,000 was raised. All funds will go toward rebuilding the school in Maryanivka, which is attended by 300 children from seven surrounding villages.
Even now, despite the damage the building has sustained, 120 children continue to study there. Every day, a school bus travels about 75 kilometers to bring the students to class. After the school is restored, another 180 children will return to their desks.
The funds raised at the charity evening will cover the entire reconstruction project: the renovation and equipping of a bomb shelter, and the restoration of the roof.
In turn, we invite everyone to join the charity campaign “Cossacks and Avrora: In Search of Treasures,” which is being carried out in partnership with the fundraising platform UNITED24, as part of the "Rebuild Ukraine" initiative.
