With support from Aurora, a shelter was established in Kherson

90% of civilian deaths during shelling are caused by shrapnel. Based on Israel's experience, mobile shelters can save lives. They require minimal costs compared to other civil defense measures.

In Ukraine, the charitable foundation “Youth 2.0” is running a project called Safeplace4UA—an emergency campaign aimed at saving lives through the use of secure, domestically-produced shelters.

Since the beginning of the war, Aurora has been continuously seeking new ways to support Ukrainians. This time, our company helped establish a shelter in Kherson, located at 15 Mykolaivske Highway.

In early May, a store from our network will open at this location. So, in the event of an air raid alert, both shoppers and passersby will be able to take shelter and wait out the danger safely.
