In 2021, Avrora supported 14 sporting events
Avrora is a team of like-minded individuals who strive to make the world a better place.
And we do that in many ways — one of them is through sports. We run, play team games, and travel.
We always stay active and in shape, spending our free time in meaningful, engaging, and energetic ways.
On February 14, 2021, we organized the CupidRUN charity running flashmob for the second time to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Participants could run any distance of their choice by making a charitable contribution. All funds raised were donated to our long-time partner, the Helgroup Charitable Foundation.
But we don’t just organize our own events — we also participate in and co-organize others, especially those that promote a healthy lifestyle and have ecological or charitable missions.
In 2021, Avrora was an official partner of the following events:
- Online race “Luty Marathon 2.0”
- Children’s rowing tournament
- Anti-marathon — a project by the Ukrainian Leadership Academy (UAL) for aspiring runners
- Charity cross-triathlon to help people recovering from Covid-19 at home
- Beach volleyball tournaments
- Poltava Outdoor Weekend — a tourism festival held at Pryrichkovyi Park
- WORKOUT BATTLES — National Street Workout competition in Poltava
- Sport Day at Peremoha Park for the Day of Physical Culture and Sports
- Introductory pétanque masterclass
- RUNDAY meet-up with five running clubs of Poltava
- Climbing festival “Granite Cup” in Chykalivka
- Networking event “Poltava Running: Developing the Running Culture” at Mistohub
We also supported two unique Power Space Team events:
- Opishnia Trail — a race through sacred landscapes of Scythian hills, forests, and Opishnia’s signature clay, with distances from 1 to 30 km
- Bulanove Eco Trail — an eco-concept event featuring three disciplines: trail running, cycling, and team kayaking
