Representatives of Aurora joined the jury of a vibrant event that brought together young inventors and dreamers of the Poltava region — the “Pulse of Creativity” initiative, organized by the Poltava Regional Junior Academy of Sciences at the Oleks Honchar Youth Library. This event marked the beginning of the selection process for the Poltava Regional Academy’s team to participate in the All-Ukrainian Creativity Olympiad 2026.
The Olympiad is part of the international program Destination Imagination (DI) — a globally recognized educational initiative founded in the United States. It focuses on developing creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and project management skills among students. In Ukraine, the program is implemented by the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Participants form teams and choose one of six challenges — Technical, Scientific, Engineering, Fine Arts, Improvisational, or Social. Their task is to design an original, creative, and fully independent solution (without adult assistance) and present it within limited time and budget. In addition, the teams take on instant challenges that test quick thinking, imagination, and team coordination.
Winners of the national stage earn the honor of representing Ukraine at the Global Finals of Destination Imagination in Kansas City, USA. Ukrainian teams have already achieved great success, repeatedly ranking among the world’s top 10 and even winning their first gold medal in 2025.
The Poltava regional team has an impressive record — for two years in a row, it has taken silver at the national level. This year, the organizers gathered a professional jury consisting of experts from the Poltava Regional Academy and experienced DI alumni to select the most promising participants for the new season.
At Aurora, we are proud to support initiatives that help children develop creativity, think outside the box, and believe in themselves — because we’re convinced that investing in young talent today means a stronger, brighter tomorrow for all of us.
