Gender equality is one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which promotes the provision of equal rights and opportunities for women and men, freedom of choice without restrictions, and the ability to freely develop one's abilities regardless of gender or sex.

Avrora follows these principles, actively promotes them, implements them in its operations, and openly supports equal rights for women and men, including in the workplace — both within the company and in collaboration with partners.

Football is stereotypically considered a male sport, so in August 2023, Avrora became the official partner of the women’s football team Kryvbas.
For the first time in Ukraine, a women’s football club received a dedicated corporate partner!

To mark this important event, a thematic art object was created on the grounds of the Support Office in Poltava, dedicated to the principles of gender equality and promoting equal rights and opportunities for women and men, regardless of gender or sex.

In partnership, Kryvbas and Avrora also created and continue to support the Equality Hub, aimed at uniting like-minded people and creating conditions to fight inequality.

On March 20, 2024, at UNIT.City in Kyiv, a Sport&Business Club meeting was held, dedicated to women in sport and women’s sports in general, during which numerous current topics were discussed: gender gaps in the labor market, issues of sports management and the personal stories of female athletes, gender differences across various sports, and the opportunities that help ensure recognition and fair evaluation of women's achievements — and much more.

At this event, Artem Haharin, Vice President of FC Kryvbas, together with Olha Pravda, Human Capital Development Director at Avrora Multimarket, presented the Equality Hub informal platform.
They told the audience that this project is intended to bring together stakeholders and coordinate efforts to create conditions that increase opportunities for women and girls in traditionally “non-female” spheres of activity.

All of these initiatives once again prove that Avrora systematically implements the principles of equal rights and opportunities in its operations.
We are convinced that sports help break stereotypes related to gender and sex, and we ensure that both women and men can realize their potential and talents.
