For City Day, Poltava residents completed a million-hryvnia fundraiser for an electronic warfare system. The Aurora multimarket chain supported the campaign with a donation of ₴300,000.

In today’s reality, every celebration in Ukraine becomes a new opportunity for people to unite in support of our defenders.
That’s exactly what happened in Poltava, where City Day was celebrated on June 29. Local volunteers and charitable organizations launched a fundraiser to purchase electronic warfare (EW) equipment for the 116th Territorial Defense Brigade, the 18th Separate Army Aviation Brigade named after Ihor Sikorsky, and the 17th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.

Of course, Aurora joined the initiative with a ₴300,000 donation, as supporting Ukraine’s Defense Forces in every possible way is our highest priority.

We are sincerely grateful to the driving forces and key donors of this campaign — the Poltava Battalion of the Caring and their social project BlagoKava, which raised over half a million hryvnias.
We also thank our fellow partners — MistoHub and Dmytro Sobakar’s restaurant network — as well as the incredible people of Poltava, who contributed nearly ₴113,000 via Monobank.

Aurora independently organizes and joins charitable initiatives aimed at supporting the Defense Forces and helping those affected by the war. This is how we view business social responsibility: to do our job as best we can — and to donate to protect those who protect us.
