On December 1, 2024, Aurora opened its 30th store in Romania, marking the second store in the city of Bacău. The total area of the new store is 150 square meters.

Aurora’s first store in Romania was launched in October 2023 in Suceava, signaling the beginning of the chain’s international expansion. Within a year, Aurora’s stores abroad welcomed over 1 million visitors, 98% of whom were local residents.

Additionally, in 2024, the chain opened a distribution center in Bacău, facilitating further rapid growth.

“By expanding our business abroad, we support local Romanian manufacturers and, most importantly, Ukrainian producers who export goods to the Aurora chain in Romania,” commented Taras Panasenko, co-founder of the Aurora chain.
