The goal of the “My Voice Rebuilds” project is to raise 10,000,000 UAH. Avrora became the first donor and contributed $100,000.

The song with which alyona alyona and Jerry Heil won third place at Eurovision is dedicated to the resilience, bravery, and devoted hearts of Ukrainian women. The story of two such women inspired the artists to launch a charity fundraiser aimed at rebuilding a gymnasium in the village of Velyka Kostromka in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The school was destroyed in the fall of 2022 by a direct hit from a Russian missile. Liudmyla Taranovych, a history teacher with 40 years of experience, stayed in the village and continued to teach online under daily shelling.
Teacher assistant Tetiana Mahda was among those who cleared the rubble of the school and preserved what could be saved. Today, she continues working in Velyka Kostromka with children with special needs—online.
To help these courageous women, their colleagues, and 250 students return to real classrooms—and to ensure they have a proper shelter—the Eurovision artists, together with UNITED24, Visa, and Oschadbank, launched a fundraising campaign in late April.
The goal of the “My Voice Rebuilds” project is to raise 10,000,000 UAH. Avrora became the first donor and contributed $100,000, which amounts to around 4 million UAH. With this, we aimed to draw attention to the campaign, give it a strong start, and support our girls ahead of the important competition.
The fundraiser is still ongoing, so everyone can join and help make the dream of 250 children from the Dnipropetrovsk region come true.
