Avrora has joined the Women’s Entrepreneurship EXPO and made it to the finals of the WEPs Awards 2025

On 17 November 2025, Kyiv hosted the satellite event of the Women’s Entrepreneurship EXPO 2025, organized by UN Women Ukraine. The event brought together women entrepreneurs, business representatives, investors, and experts in women’s leadership. The EXPO is part of the global Women’s Entrepreneurship EXPO initiative launched in 2021 to build an ecosystem for women’s entrepreneurship across Europe and Central Asia. Its format creates a space for collaboration, inspiration, and new business growth opportunities.

Avrora joined the event’s programme, which included a business exhibition and opportunity fair, mentoring sessions, practical workshops, and inspiring talks by women entrepreneurs. At the company’s corporate booth, the R&D team shared their expertise, showcased innovative projects, and presented Avrora’s own development — the company’s AI Assistant. Avrora was also represented by Inna Boychuk, Director of Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Engagement, who spoke about opportunities for small businesses to collaborate with Avrora and about the work of the R&D direction.

As part of the EXPO, the WEPs Awards 2025 ceremony took place — an award that recognises companies actively implementing the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs). Avrora became a finalist in the WEPs Signatories category. The jury highlighted the company’s systematic work in advancing gender equality, expanding opportunities for women, and integrating WEPs principles into HR, CSR, and corporate governance practices. During the final case presentations, Avrora was represented by Aliona Zhygura, Head of CSR. Although another company won the award, reaching the finals demonstrated strong recognition of Avrora’s approach by the international expert community.

The Women’s Entrepreneurship EXPO 2025 became an important platform for building partnerships, exchanging experience, and presenting Ukrainian business on the international stage. Avrora’s participation — both in the programme and as a WEPs Awards finalist — stands as a meaningful acknowledgment of the company’s efforts to support women’s entrepreneurship, foster inclusion, and advance sustainable development.
