Aurora joined the “Plant It!” initiative

Due to Russian aggression in Ukraine and the ongoing economic crisis, many Ukrainians have found themselves in difficult life circumstances — losing their homes, health, or sources of income.
Yet despite these challenges, people are not giving up. They are eager to provide for themselves with locally grown food and ask only for seeds to get started.

In April 2022, the NGO “Ekoltava” launched the “Plant It!” initiative to provide seed kits to people affected by the war and facing difficult life circumstances.
Among the recipients are internally displaced persons, large families, pensioners, veterans, and people with disabilities.

Last year, the organization received over 1,000 applications in just one month and, thanks to donations from supporters in Germany, Hungary, and Israel, was able to supply seeds to around 3,000 Ukrainians.

This year, “Ekoltava” launched a dedicated fundraising platform “Plant It!”, where donations are being collected for seed kits.
More than 6,000 requests have already been submitted from across Ukraine — especially from frontline and recently de-occupied regions.

Aurora is proud to support this important initiative by donating vegetable seeds to the project.

“Thank you from our entire team! This is truly a huge contribution and support for the project and for the people who are struggling due to the war,”
– a message of gratitude we received from Ekoltava for our contribution.

Let’s continue to support one another on the road to Victory —
Together for Ukraine’s ecological and food security.
