Avrora has contributed to the establishment of a center for women affected by violence

Poltava has become one of the first cities involved in the "Cities and Communities Free from Domestic Violence" project.
Here, the first Day Center for Social and Psychological Assistance has been opened, featuring a 24-hour crisis room for individuals who have suffered from domestic and/or gender-based violence.
The establishment of such a center in Poltava marks an important step in building a comprehensive system for combating violence.

The Day Center is a 24-hour accessible place for individuals who have experienced various forms of violence.
People can stay there for up to 10 days. An individual support plan is developed for each client.
Here, they can find shelter and receive psychological, social, and legal assistance from qualified specialists.

The center was set up in a municipal facility operated by the "Light of Hope" charitable organization, with which our company has a partnership agreement and cooperates within the framework of social responsibility initiatives.
Thanks to Avrora's support, the building and interior spaces of the Day Center were renovated.

In 2020, our company signed the Declaration for Gender Equality and the Prevention of Domestic Violence.
The majority of Avrora’s employees and clients are women, and we recognize the importance of gender equality and the urgent issue of domestic violence, which predominantly affects women.

Thus, we joined the implementation of this vital project for the local community to combat gender-based and domestic violence, supporting one of Avrora’s key sustainable development goals.
