₴1 million invested in the future: how Avrora and the Bendukidze Center are advancing economic education in Ukraine

Modern economic education is one of the key foundations for developing the next generation and strengthening the country’s competitiveness. That is why Avrora has been investing for several years in projects that help school students, college students, and teachers access high-quality knowledge and up-to-date educational materials. One of these directions is the cooperation with the Kakha Bendukidze Free Market Center, which began in 2023 and quickly grew into a long-term strategic partnership.

In September 2025, Avrora invested ₴1 million into the Bendukidze Center to further strengthen the development of economic education across Ukrainian regions. This contribution enabled the wide distribution of the Economics for Grades 8–9 textbook, the organization of the nationwide Economics Olympiad with more than 30,000 participants among school and college students, as well as a series of teacher workshops and other educational initiatives.

The partnership made it possible to involve leading experts in updating educational programs, provide teachers with modern materials, and conduct training sessions on innovative teaching methods—benefiting more than 500 educators. In Poltava region, an economic education accelerator was launched, bringing together schools and teachers around effective approaches to teaching economics. Similar programs have since expanded to Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, and Lviv regions, and will soon launch in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa. In total, schools have received more than 5,000 copies of the updated economics textbook.

Another important area is cooperation with universities: Avrora organizes internships, company visits, and educational events that help young people understand how modern Ukrainian businesses operate and see possible career paths within the country’s economy. In 2025, the New Generation program was launched, offering teenagers their first professional experience and a pathway toward future employment.

The partnership with the Bendukidze Center and the support of educational projects represent Avrora’s long-term investment in the development of Ukraine’s economy. We believe that access to modern economic knowledge will shape a generation capable of building a strong, innovative, and resilient Ukraine.
