With the support of Aurora and its partners, sporting events were held in Kamianske and Poltava, bringing together hundreds of participants from all over Ukraine and giving them a powerful boost of energy, emotions, and unforgettable experiences.
On July 19, the Central Park of Culture and Recreation in Kamianske hosted the national competition "Zvytyaha of the Unconquered" — another stage of the ranking selection for the final, where the winners will represent Ukraine at the international Strong Spirits Games in October in Madrid. 187 participants from 20 regions of the country tested themselves in five adaptive disciplines: bench press, rowing machine, kettlebell snatch, air bike, and “invastrong.” The competition became a true example of resilience and mutual support — every performance was met with loud applause and cheers of encouragement.
Another large-scale veterans’ competition took place in Poltava — the national tournament "Strong Ukraine". Around one hundred participants from over 12 regions — war veterans, service members, and representatives of security forces — gathered here. The competition had a team format: 26 teams (16 veterans’ and 10 military) competed in rowing on Concept-2 and strongman relay races. Legendary Vasyl Virastyuk and Vice President of the Ukrainian Strongman Federation Oleksandr Lashyn ensured that every exercise was performed to the highest standard.
Participants admitted that their preparation took place in gyms, and their main goal was not victory but supporting one another and testing their own strength. Dmytro Romanov, Head of the Poltava District Military Administration, emphasized that such competitions are important not only for physical fitness but also for the psychological relief of the military.
We sincerely thank all the organizers, partners, and participants who help make these events possible.
