The nationwide sports event “The Valor of the Unbroken” took place in Ivano-Frankivsk.
Organized for the second year in a row by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ukrainian Strongman Federation, the event was proudly and actively supported by Aurora.

The key objective of the event was to promote patriotism and unity in society by engaging war veterans, active service members, and people with disabilities in physical culture and sports. Participation in the tournament fosters a sense of community and resilience, serving as an effective tool for both physical and mental recovery.
Nearly 300 men and women aged 18 to 65 from 20 regions across Ukraine took part in inclusive competitions, which included:
- Bench press
- Kettlebell snatch
- Rowing on Concept-2 machines
- Airbike challenges
- Adaptive strongman exercises
Participants represented a diverse group: veterans, combatants, active military personnel, individuals with disabilities, law enforcement officers, and cadets.
As part of the event, a new open-air workout zone called “StrongWorkout” was officially presented and opened. Specially designed to meet the needs of people with motor impairments, the facility will serve veterans and local residents alike.
The development of adaptive sports is one of the strategic priorities of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. In partnership with national sports federations, the Ministry works to create inclusive conditions for veterans and individuals with disabilities by integrating adaptive components into official competition rules. The Ukrainian Strongman Federation was the first sports organization to take this step — and today, over 35 federations have joined the movement.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Strongman Federation, and the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, and implemented within the framework of the National Strategy for Creating a Barrier-Free Environment in Ukraine, initiated by First Lady Olena Zelenska.
