Thanks to the initiative and support of the company Avrora, vibrant sporting events for veterans and military personnel took place in various cities across Ukraine, bringing together hundreds of participants. It was a month filled with competitions, mutual support, and an unbreakable spirit.
On May 3, Kyiv hosted a large-scale event, “KYIV FOR THE UNBREAKABLE.” Together with the Department of Youth and Sports of the capital and with the personal support of Mayor Vitali Klitschko, over 500 participants — veterans, servicemen, and cadets — gathered. The atmosphere of trust, strength, and unity impressed even the most demanding spectators.
The next day, May 4, Kyiv welcomed the Ukrainian Strongman Championship. It was a competition where physical strength stood side by side with inner endurance. The participants proved that strength of spirit is just as important as strength of body. Courage, determination, and a fighting spirit dominated the arena.
On May 17, the town of Baryshivka hosted the second stage of the Ukrainian Team Cup among veterans and military personnel — the "Victory of the Unbroken" competition, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs. More than 30 teams competed for victory, showcasing incredible teamwork, support, and resilience — even despite the rain and challenging weather conditions.
On May 24, Kropyvnytskyi hosted the final May event — the sports initiative “STRONG UKRAINE.” A total of 215 participants from across the country — veterans, veteran women, and active military personnel — competed and supported one another. Among them were both newcomers and seasoned participants. We continue to promote a systematic approach to rehabilitation through sport and are glad to see this initiative spark genuine interest and deliver real results.
We sincerely thank everyone who joined, supported, participated in, or helped implement these events. We believe that together we are stronger — and we will continue strengthening the veteran community through sports and unity.
