"Veterans’ Circle": Aurora Joins Prometheus Initiative to Support Ukrainian Veterans

Aurora, a nationwide chain of multimarkets, has become a partner of the “Veterans’ Circle” program launched by the educational platform Prometheus. The project provides 500 free spots for veterans to take part in paid online professional development courses.

The “Veterans’ Circle” program aims to support the professional adaptation of veterans, their family members, as well as the families of fallen, captured, and missing defenders of Ukraine. Participants can choose one of three in-demand professions: Project Manager, HR Manager, or Business Analyst.

The learning process combines practical training, mock interviews, individual career mentoring, and psychological support sessions, creating a safe environment for a gradual transition to civilian life.

“For Aurora, supporting veterans is an integral part of our strategic approach to sustainable development. We strive to ensure that those who defended Ukraine have every opportunity to realize their professional potential after returning to peaceful life. Promoting professional growth and social support for veterans is an important factor in strengthening the country’s human capital,”
— said Aliona Zhigura, Head of CSR at Aurora.

“I served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2022. In the spring of 2025, while undergoing rehabilitation after a severe injury, I realized I wouldn’t be able to continue my service. That’s when I applied for the Prometheus program. It became exactly what I needed — an opportunity to confidently start a new chapter in life and find fulfilling work,”
— shared Maksym Utovka, a graduate of Prometheus’s retraining program.

Applications for participation are open until November 10, 2025. Details and the registration form are available on the Prometheus website.

Our company continuously invests in education, social initiatives, and veteran reintegration projects. Supporting the professional development of Ukraine’s defenders is a key part of Aurora’s long-term mission — creating opportunities for the dignified self-realization of every individual.
