New shelters have been set up for residents of Sumy

Three mobile shelters were installed in Sumy with the support of Avrora.

With Avrora’s support, three mobile shelters have been installed in Sumy to provide a safe space during air raid alerts.

This assistance is part of the SafePlace4UA initiative—an emergency campaign aimed at saving lives by deploying domestically produced mobile shelters in high-traffic areas across Ukraine.

Each shelter is constructed from reinforced concrete in the form of a solid monolithic box, with walls over 25 cm thick and a roof 40 cm thick, ensuring reliable protection.

Similar protective structures have previously been installed in Kherson and Chernihiv with Avrora’s support.
