Aurora has officially obtained Authorized Economic Operator (AEO-C) status from the State Customs Service of Ukraine. An Authorized Economic Operator is an international concept of cooperation between businesses and customs authorities that confirms a company’s compliance with customs and tax legislation, the transparency of its procedures, and the presence of reliable control systems.

For Aurora, this status is an important step in the development of international partnerships, the optimization of logistics processes, and the enhancement of service quality for customers. The AEO program in Ukraine was introduced in 2019 and is one of the key stages in integrating Ukrainian businesses into the European customs environment. It helps increase companies’ competitiveness in international markets, supports export development, and attracts new trading partners.

Simplified customs procedures under AEO status make it possible to supply Aurora stores with the required assortment more quickly, while also strengthening cooperation with customs and other public authorities and increasing the level of trust in “business–government” communication.
