Halyna, even while writing the interview, did not stop confidently walking up the career ladder and took the position of category manager of the "Beauty and Health" direction.

How did you start your journey with Aurora?

I returned from abroad and was looking for a job.Despite having a higher education, I didn't want to work as a teacher. Therefore, on the advice of a friend, I got a job in Aurora in a warehouse.

What motivated you to move further up the career ladder?

The work was physically demanding and I also had a desire for something more. At that moment, a vacancy for an assistant manager appeared in another change, and I thought «why not?» . I came for an interview and was hired, I really liked working with people.

Later, my manager advised me to submit my resume for the position of assistant category manager. I generally love math, numbers, and I was interested in economics, it's close to me, and I realized that I was sitting still, it was time to move on.

What difficulties have you encountered during your career path?

I was afraid to leave my comfort zone, I was afraid that I didn't have the appropriate education, because a lot of knowledge was needed for a position in the commercial department, but it turned out that everything is possible to learn, you just need the desire.

Have you considered positions in other departments? ?

Yes, I did an internship in the marketing department, but I realized that it was not for me.

What advice would you give to those who want to grow and develop in Aurora?

Doubt less, try more. If there is a spark when you read a vacancy,  come to the interview, show up for at least a day and don't be afraid to refuse if it's not yours.

Continue the sentence: for me, Aurora is...

Second home. I spend a lot of time here, after work or on a day off I go to Aurora, look at the windows, talk to the saleswomen.

Are you thinking about changing companies?

When I think about it, I realize that it would be better and I have not encountered a humane attitude from employers towards me. I am already used to good conditions, bonus programs, the opportunity to be heard and submit my ideas to improve the work process.
