Career Path of Anna Kuliahina, Leader of the Openings Team.

Eight years ago, Anna Kulyahina saw a job announcement on a school bulletin board near a store in Dnipro and started what she thought would be a "temporary" job. Today, Anna leads the Openings Team.

How did your journey with Aurora begin?

It all started at A60 in Dnipro. I joined for a temporary job, just for a couple of months. I had managerial experience, so after a month of working, I was promoted to administrator. Six months later, my TM said to me, "Anna, it’s time!" and suggested that I take on the role of TM, as she saw I was ready. Although I wasn’t sure I was prepared, I agreed. Later, I applied for the RM position and moved to Zaporizhzhia.

What motivated you to climb the career ladder?

The understanding that I wanted more: new tasks, new challenges. Before transitioning to the office, I realized I had outgrown my role as an RM and started to feel a bit burnt out – I wanted change and further growth.

Did you face any challenges on your career path?

New processes, new responsibilities, and the need for new knowledge. Everything had to be learned quickly and efficiently. Not exactly difficulties, but the learning and adaptation period in a new role is always a bit stressful. Also, relocating from a big city.

Did you ever consider positions in the Support Office?

Not at all!) I once visited the office in Dnipro for a tour when I was an administrator. I liked it, but I never thought I would work here someday – back then, the office seemed like something unattainable.

What advice would you give to those who want to grow at Aurora?

You know, it can be scary and difficult to overcome yourself… The important thing is to stand up and take the FIRST STEP! We spend most of our lives at work, so why not strive to make our work better and grow?) If you feel confident – go for it! Surround yourself with people who aim for development and who support you.

Complete the sentence: For me, Aurora is…

…an awesome company! I love the open communication climate, where we don’t have "problems," only "growth points." We have such an amazing value base! Aurora has shaped me over these 8 years. I don’t know what would have to happen for me to change companies now… Aurora is fantastic!
