As part of the project, Avrora and its customers raised 10 million UAH to fund the purchase of drones and related equipment.

“Guardians’ Drones” Project: Avrora Continues Supporting Ukraine’s Defenders and Receives Recognition from the National Guard
The “Guardians’ Drones” initiative — a joint project of Ukrainian businesses and the leadership of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU) — has been ongoing for over a year. From the very beginning, Avrora has been an active contributor.
In 2023, together with our customers, we raised UAH 10 million to fund the purchase of drones and essential equipment for the Guard. This year, in late May, we joined forces with other entrepreneurs to deliver another batch of unmanned aerial vehicles to frontline units.
Because today, the most important task is to support our defenders every single day. Being a reliable and unwavering pillar behind them is both a civic duty and a personal mission.
During a meeting with the NGU command and fellow project participants, Avrora CEO Taras Panasenko shared a personal story about his nephew, Yurii, a soldier in an Odesa-based National Guard unit:
“He was born in Dnipro and deeply cared about his country and homeland. In early 2023, Yurko voluntarily transferred to the 15th NGU Brigade ‘Kara-Dag’, answering a call of conscience, to help liberate the occupied territories in southern Ukraine.
Tragically, during one of the counteroffensive operations, he came under mortar fire and later passed away in the hospital from his wounds. He will forever be 24 years old. It’s a pain beyond words for our family.
For Avrora, supporting the National Guard and other Defense Forces is a matter of honor.”
With gratitude and pride, we accepted a commendation from the Command of the National Guard of Ukraine for our continued support of the project.
We are not stopping — we’re working for Victory.
