“Our mission is to improve people’s everyday lives by making products for the home and soul more accessible to everyone. But we always remember that behind every joyful moment and every opportunity to create them stands the bravery of Ukraine’s Defense Forces,” said Aliona Zhygura, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Aurora multimarket chain.
“In August, we expressed our gratitude by supporting the ‘Boroviter’ Military School, which provides free training to our defenders. Special thanks go to our customers — it is thanks to their support that we are able to make such meaningful contributions.”
Recognizing the importance of strengthening Ukraine’s defense through education, Aurora donated ₴3,000,000 to support the training of commanders and sergeants in military planning and leadership.
“Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have exclusively trained active military personnel and always free of charge. That’s why support from socially responsible businesses is crucial for keeping our training programs effective and ongoing. I believe this is exactly the kind of synergy that brings us closer to Victory,” said Tetyana Ostra, co-founder of the Boroviter school.
Since its inception, Boroviter has trained more than 24,000 cadets and helped prepare 70 military units. The school offers intensive programs across eight key areas:
– Fixed-wing and multirotor UAVs
– FPV drones
– Military communications
– Command and control
– Topography
– Psychological preparedness
– Tactical knowledge
– Implementation of frontline innovations and lessons learned.
