The Ministry of Digital Transformation, with support from Aurora and other partners, is offering a unique opportunity for veterans and the families of defenders who want to start their own businesses. The new season of the “Trajectory 2” educational grant program offers participants a two-month training course, which includes educational modules on marketing, digitalization, and business fundamentals. Upon completion, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to receive funding to develop their business ideas.

Who can participate:

  • Veterans
  • Family members of a veteran, servicemember, fallen defender, POW, or missing person (including spouses, parents, children, adopted children, siblings)

"The Ministry of Digital Transformation is systematically launching projects that help Ukrainians bring their ideas to life and grow or scale their businesses. One such initiative is the 'Trajectory' educational grant program. It gives veterans and military families access to the knowledge, expertise, and funding they need to pursue entrepreneurship. In the first season, 50 finalists received 100,000 UAH each to launch their businesses. Now, together with our partners, we’re launching Season 2 to open even more doors for Ukrainians to unlock their potential."
— Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology – Minister of Digital Transformation

"At the Ministry of Digital Transformation, we are actively working on digitalizing business processes and promoting new digital services and educational grant programs for entrepreneurs. Season 2 of the 'Trajectory' program will equip veterans and military families with the skills they need to bring their business ideas to life. Participants will learn how to integrate digital innovations to scale their businesses, undergo intensive training, and receive mentoring support. According to research, 64% of veterans and servicemembers plan to start their own business. Our goal is to support them in doing so and to foster the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine."
— Valeriia Ionan, Deputy Minister for European Integration, Ministry of Digital Transformation

The program offers not only knowledge, but also funding opportunities:

  • 44 participants in the “Beginner Entrepreneur” category will receive 200,000 UAH each
  • 20 participants in the “Experienced Entrepreneur” category will receive 400,000 UAH each
  • 2 business projects from the online lecture series will receive 100,000 UAH each

At the final Grand Pitch Day, the 10 best participants will compete for the main prizes:

  • 1 million UAH in the “Beginner Entrepreneur” category
  • 2 million UAH in the “Experienced Entrepreneur” category

"We’re proud that the 'Trajectory' program had such a successful start and inspired many veterans and their families to launch their own businesses. Now more than ever, it’s crucial to support those who defended our country and help them build a new future. That’s why we’re launching 'Trajectory 2' — to continue this mission by providing not only financial support but also the knowledge and resources to turn business ideas into engines of Ukraine’s economic growth. Together, we’re creating new opportunities and helping veterans find their own path to success."
— Taras Panasenko, Co-owner of the Aurora multimarket chain
