Yuliia joined Aurora temporarily, looking for a part-time job. However, her sincerity, drive for growth, and belief in the company’s values turned this temporary stop into a journey full of challenges, growth, and achievements.
How did your journey with Aurora begin?
I used to visit Aurora quite often, but I never really paid attention to the store’s name — I would just drop by to pick up my favorite items. Later, I saw a job posting for a sales assistant and decided to take it as a temporary job while continuing to look for a position in my field — finance.
I was hired as a sales assistant, and from the very first days I really liked the team atmosphere and the company’s standards. After six months, I was promoted and transferred to another store as an administrator. It was a real challenge: I had to build a team and set up all the processes from scratch.
What motivated you to move up the career ladder?
Over time, I outgrew my position in the store — I knew all the processes well, and it became less engaging. I moved to the position of Auditor, but due to frequent business trips, I hardly saw my family, so I decided to apply for a Communications Manager role at the support office and successfully passed the interview.
Based on my performance in that role and positive feedback from colleagues, I was offered the position of Head of the Contact Center. I decided to take the risk, even though it was a completely new environment for me. What inspired me was that the company is constantly moving forward — and I wanted to grow вместе with it. It wasn’t easy, but the challenge made me stronger.
Later, I was offered the role of Head of Avrora Connect. I felt tremendous support from my colleagues and realized that, already understanding many of the processes, I had to try myself in this new role.
What do you like most about the company?
The company’s values, service vision, and LEAN methodology. They resonate with me so much that I’ve even started applying some of these approaches at home.
What helped you keep moving forward?
In the store, my persistence helped me a lot: there was a huge amount of information to handle, which required effort. I was also motivated by a sense of responsibility toward the people who believed in me. I loved my team and was very systematic in my work. At the same time, I had to learn to be flexible — and that was a real challenge.
What motivates you to stay with the company for so many years?
Once again, it comes down to the values, LEAN, and the service vision. I haven’t seen anything like this in any other company. We attend trainings, learn on the best educational platforms, and submit our projects for awards — it creates a truly unique atmosphere.
In many other companies, everything revolves only around money, but here I have the opportunity to grow, learn, share my experience, and analyze both my own and the team’s areas for improvement. That’s what motivates me to stay.
What advice would you give to those who want to grow and develop at Aurora?
Live within Aurora’s culture and values. Don’t just work — truly embrace and experience them together with the company.
