Dmytro initially joined the company looking for a temporary job, but he became so inspired by the company's atmosphere that he has been successfully building his career ever since and has no plans to stop anytime soon.
How did your journey with Aurora begin?
It started like it did for many others: I finished college, summer arrived, and I needed a job. In our town, there was only one Aurora, and my mom worked there as an administrator. She suggested I join as a salesperson. At first, it felt a bit strange—I’m a guy, and here I was, working as a salesperson at Aurora. But I decided to give it a try. I worked as a salesperson and later moved to the position of a security guard.
What motivated you to grow your career?
In each position, I worked for about a year, and it naturally progressed that I moved forward. I transitioned from salesperson to administrator because I was curious and wanted more responsibility. After almost a year, I realized it was becoming boring, and I already knew everything about the role. At that moment, my RM suggested I take the position of TM in Kyiv. I hesitated, afraid I wouldn’t manage. But my then-TM and RM supported and inspired me a lot. I’m very grateful to them.
How do you find the courage to embrace change?
There are moments in life when you feel like you’ve hit a wall. Often, only radical changes that turn things "upside down" can help. Don’t be afraid of them – embrace change, and don’t suppress your ambitions. Our company provides all the tools you need for growth!
What advice can you give to those who want to grow their careers?
Don’t be afraid of responsibility! Any responsibility contributes to the growth of both your mental state and intellect. It’s also important to have support from your team or loved ones.
